CLYDE KANETAKE Obituary

CLYDE TETSUMI KANETAKE Clyde Tetsumi Kanetake, 84, passed away peacefully at his Aiea home on February 1, 2026. He was born on January 28, 1942, and was a proud graduate of Waianae High School, class of 1960. He retired as a Superintendent from the construction industry at the age of 72. He then pursued his passions of daily tennis play, as well as, landscaping and maintaining his yard. He will always be remembered for his generosity, his unwavering integrity, and mostly, his love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Kerri Yrojo; son, Ryan; granddaughter, Haylie Yrojo; and dogs, Kona and Kody. He is also survived by sister, Diane Oh Young; and brother Dennis Kanetake. He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in our hearts. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 29. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am, followed by services at 10:00 am at Mililani Memorial Park, Mauka Chapel.
