DIANTHA LEONG Obituary

DIANTHA COOKIE LAM LEONG Diantha "Cookie" Lam Leong, 81, passed away surrounded by her family on November 10, 2024. She was born in Honolulu, Hawai'i to Philip and Ella Lam. Cookie graduated from Punahou School in 1961 and Vassar College in 1965. She worked at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa in the Statistical and Computing Center as a computer programmer. Cookie enjoyed gathering at Wai'alae Country Club with her family and playing golf with friends. Cookie was devoted to her family and a friend to everyone who knew her. Cookie is survived by her daughter Tishya Anne Wren (Jon), sons Evan (Kari) and Darin (Lisa), and 8 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Denis C. H. Leong and her parents. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Diamond Head Mortuary. Visitation 9:00 AM. Service 10:00 AM. No flowers please.
