I was so sorry to hear of Dot´s passing. I regret not keeping in touch with Dot and Eddie for all these years. Dot is a beautiful person, inside and out. She was warm and welcoming to me when they lived in Los Angeles in the early 60s. She and Eddie opened their house to me while I was stationed in Army barracks in SOCAL and many other local servicemen in CA. She and Eddie gave us a place to stay on weekends, took us around and fed us too.
Dot was proud of her Uchinanchu heritage so she taught me dialect that I use til today.
I can say for myself and all the people who knew Dot that our lives were enriched by her.
