EDWARD LELLING Obituary

EDWARD ALBERT LELLING JR. Edward Albert Lelling Jr. was born on December 25, 1936, in Detroit, Michigan. He and his little brother, Kenneth moved with the family to Oahu, back to Michigan and then back to Hawaii in 1954. Edward graduated from Saint Louis School in 1955 and received a BA in history and economics from St. Mary's College in California. Later, Edward attended The University of Hawai'i where he received his Masters in History. Edward authored "The 1946 Sugar Strike in Hawaii and the ILWU" in 1980. Edward taught in schools in Japan, California and Hawaii, including at Chaminade College. Following his career as an educator, Edward joined his brother, Kenneth, and worked in real estate management and development. Edward is survived by his brother, Kenneth Lelling, extended family, associates, and friends. Services will be held on July 5, 2025 at the Valley of the Temples, Lower Chapel. Visitation will be at 10 AM Services at 11AM Reception to follow and Burial Services at 2 PM
