Edward Medeiros Obituary

EDWARD MEDEIROS JR. Edward Kaakua Medeiros Jr., also known to many as Buster of Kahului, Hawaii passed away July 15, 2023 at home. He was born in 1957 to Cecile and Edward Medeiros, Sr. In 1973, Buster's life changed forever when he was injured during a Saint Louis football game as he made a tackle on a kickoff. He has been a quadriplegic ever since. He continued at Saint Louis and graduated proudly as a Crusader in 1975. From there he went on to graduate from the University of Hawai'i, Manoa with a bachelor's degree in English. His biggest accomplishment happened at the age of 50, when he discovered his love of art and became a mouth painter. He became an accomplished artist thanks to the Mouth and Foot Painters, Inc. He is survived by the love of his life, Beverly Robello, daughter, Shoshana Robello-Margull, and son-in-law, Nicholas Margull. He is also survived by his mother, Cecile Medeiros, sisters, Arlene Antenorcruz, Roslyn Pahia, Maria Anderson and Cecile VanWyk, and brothers Matthew Medeiros, Keoki Medeiros, and many uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews. There will be a prayer service on August 26, 2023 at the Mystical Rose Oratory at 3140 Waialae Ave, Honolulu, Hawaii. Visitation will start at 10:30am and the service will begin at 11:30am and fellowship will follow.
