So many great memories of working in the ER at Queens and having Kitty as the charge nurse. She was such an incredible leader there, totally dedicated to the patients and the staff. I was fortunate enough to be one of the only ones that she shared her coveted chili pepper jelly recipe with and now when make a batch every Christmas, I always think of her.

kitty was more than a retired queens nurse.she was dedicated to the queens emergency room gave 100% every evening shift she worked.a no nonsense charge nurse she mentored so many of us.when no one else would pull the extra shift Kitty showed up for us and her patients.and Queens.having worked with many nurses in my 40 years as an RN she was simply the best.
