HENRY ROBERTS Obituary

HENRY MAIOLA ROBERTS August 8, 1933 - April 21, 2024 Henry Roberts 90, was called to rest and went home to our heavenly father on Sunday, April 21, 2024. His wife Violet, of 71 years and his ohana were close to his side. He was born to Rose Santos Roberts Pali and Manuel Roberts of Waikane Vly. Rd. Henry attended Waiahole School and Castle High School in Kaneohe. After many years of service, he retired as a Correction Officer from Halawa Correctional Facility and also the Army National Guard. Henry was a pig farmer and also grew Kalo and tropical flowers. He was one of the first who pioneered into raising prawns with Anuenue Fisheries. Henry was a man of God and preached with wisdom, compassion and understanding. He was a grass roots pastor of THE FOUNDATION OF JESUS CHRIST. He had a modest following of family, friends and others seeking the teachings of our lord, Jesus Christ. He is survived by his longtime school sweetheart Violet Recarte. They have 8 children, 2 adopted, 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Services will take place at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe on Friday, May 31st. Visitation: 9am; Service:10am; 1pm Burial at Valley of the Temples in Kahalu'u.
