Jean Anderson Obituary

JEAN MILLICENT BRICKMAN ANDERSON We gather not in mourning but in celebration to honor the vibrant life of Jean Anderson, 91, who embarked on her next great adventure on February 9, 2024. Jean's life was one of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories shared with all who had the pleasure of crossing her path. Jean grew up in Kaimuki and Waimanalo, and was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High School. She and her husband, D.G. Andy Anderson, built their own home in Kahalu'u where she was a devoted mother to daughter, Randy and sons, Brian and Jerry (who predeceased her in death). Jean's heart knew no bounds, embracing countless others as "Grams," a testament to her love and kindness. Her home was always open with a stocked refrigerator and ready for a sleepover. Jean's story was one of loving connections. She was deeply rooted in her faith and love of her Grace Bible Church family. A globetrotter with an insatiable curiosity, Jean's adventures spanned the globe, with a special fondness for Africa and the energy (and machines!) of Las Vegas. Her love of golf brought her such joy and provided a world of courses as her playground. Frequent cribbage and hanafuda games with friends were always spirited and filled with laughter. Her zest for life was contagious and her true success lay in the genuineness of the many relationships she nurtured and loved. Private services were held. "Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories." Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery
