Joanne Rodrigues Obituary

JOANNE LEIKEALOHA RODRIGUES 90, of Honolulu, Hawaii, went to be at home with the Lord on May 6th, 2025. She was born in Honolulu in 1934 to Eleanor and Solomon Ezera. Upon the untimely death of her mother Eleanor, her father Solomon married Mary (Aiu) Ezera, who lovingly cared for her and her sister Mona. She attended Roosevelt High School. She was a seamstress, and worked for Kaimuki Dry Goods and a fabric store in California. Her primary and most important work was that of a loving and caring mother and wife. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Eleanor (Yap) and Solomon Ezera, stepmother Mary (Aiu) Ezera, sister Mona Voeller, and her late loving husband Guy L. Rodrigues, Sr. She is survived by her daughter Toni Rodrigues, and sons Guy Rodrigues (spouse Mariann), Jr and Bryan Rodrigues (spouse Laurie). She was also blessed with three grandchildren (Jennifer Franklin, Matthew Rodrigues, Guy Rodrigues III, and one great grandchild Ruth Rodrigues. Services will be held at Saint Patrick Church in Kaimuki on June 13, 2025. Visitation at 9:30 am, Eulogy at 10:15 am, Mass at 11:00 am, with Burial to follow at Diamond Head Memorial Park at 12:30 pm. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
