I met Stu while paddling with the Kaneohe Canoe Club, Golden Mix Crew. He was an awesome paddler, an outstanding steersperson and a wonderful friend. It was an honor to have shared many memories and fun times with him. He was an inspiration to many, many young and old, beginners and seasoned paddlers. You will surely be missed, Uncle Stu..."makaukau"!!

Stuboy was a good friend. He always had a smile on his face and was always willing to lend a hand. I met him through the Kailua paddling community and his kindness and support meant so much to me. He will be missed by everyone who had the honor to call him friend.
