Julita Jeremiah Obituary

JULITA DOLORES JEREMIAH Age 95, of Honolulu, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025 surrounded by her family. Born on June 15, 1930 to Carlos Ramos and Arsenia Sarno. Raised in Kalihi she was a proud graduate of Farrington High School Class of 1948. Married to James "Sonny" Jeremiah, together they raised 7 children. Her time was devoted to shuttling the kids to school and activities. She was very active with the St Louis Hui O Na Opio. Many memories were made at the Waikiki Natatorium and Ka'a'awa Beach Park where the family frequented and spent their summers. She had the most beautiful penmanship and did some work for the Honolulu Academy of Arts. She looked forward to her yearly trips to Vegas with classmates and family, but her favorite pastime was watching late night Korean drama's. Preceded in death by her husband James Jeremiah, daughters Jewel "Pua" Williams and Joni "Lei" Gates. She is survived by sons: James "Rocky" Jeremiah (Valray), Jay "Bozo" Jeremiah (Collette), daughters: Jo Ann "Moana" Jeremiah (Jeffrey), June "Noenoe" Jeremiah, Jana "Ilima" Kim (Sam), along with 17 grand- children, 35 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. Join us as we celebrate her life on Monday, August 11, 2025 at Nuuanu Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation 930am followed by services at 11am. Scattering of ashes at a later date.
