KEALI'ILALANIKULANI LALANI MOSSMAN SEGOOL Age 85, of Nanakuli, formerly of Waimanalo, Hawai'i passed peacefully surrounded by her family on August 8, 2023. She was pre-deceased by and now reunited with her loving husband, George; grandson Javier Lopez; great-granddaughter Kapua DeSoto-Lopez. She was joined by her eldest grandson, Kekaulike "Keke" Lopez, who passed away on August 14, 2023. Lalani was an extraordinary artist and craftswoman. She earned her master's in fine arts from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She had a green thumb and loved caring for anthuriums and orchids, especially with her tutu in Waimanalo. Her capacity for love and laughter was boundless and was shown especially to her mo'opuna. Survived by daughters, Kapua Segool, Keali'i Lopez, Amy Uemoto (Jack), and Georgy Ann "Annie" Koch (Mark); sisters Kehau Akiona, Kim Lan Della Simmons-Connon (Bob), and Sui Lan Kaohi Holland; brothers Bruce (Pam), Reynard, Jon, and Francis Mossman; grandsons Eleazar La'akea Lopez and Jackie Uemoto; great-grandsons Kealapono Swann-Lopez and Kaipo'i DeSoto. We will miss your smile, hugs, kisses, sense of humor and love until we meet again. Services at 2233 Nuuanu Ave.; Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Visitation 5:00-6:00 pm; Services at 6:00 pm.
