LAURITA TURNER Obituary

LAURITA VONNIE PRATT TURNER Laurita "Vonnie" Pratt Turner (92) entered her eternal home on April 17, 2023 at Arcadia in Honolulu. Vonnie attended Punahou School (Class of 48), and attended St. Lawrence University, before marrying a young Army lieutenant, Bert Turner, in 1950. Together they lived in multiple military posts before returning to their native Hawaii in 1968. Vonnie successfully ran a Cross pen distributorship for many years and was one of A.T. Cross's top salespeople. She was known as a volunteer's volunteer, serving many an organization with excellence. Hawaiian flora was a passion, and she was recently honored as an emeritus member with the Garden Club of Honolulu. Her other passion was her family. Vonnie was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years. She is survived by three sons Farrant (Joyce), Jot (Marietta), and David (Kirsten), six grandchildren, one hanai granddaughter, and six great- grandchildren. Services will be held June 3 at 3:00PM at Arcadia Retirement Residence.
