LORI YOUNG KIMURA Little things brought so much joy to Lori Young Kimura. Creating the perfect media plan for her clients. Closing her eyes while eating a piece of uni sushi. Cuddling her three dogs...Sam, Charlie and Maddie. Traveling with her husband to San Francisco and Japan. Spending time with her nieces and nephews. Massaging her mother's feet. Holding the hand of a loved one. But more than anything else in the world, Lori Kimura found real joy in making sure that those around her, those she loved, were cared for, were safe, and were happy. At the time of her passing, Lori was the Media Director at Milici Valenti Ng Pack. Her work history included Peck Simms Mueller, KITV and the University of Hawai'i. Lori Young Kimura passed away on April 24, 2025. She was surrounded by the family she loved and transitioned to the sound of their voices expressing their forever love for her. Lori is survived by mother, Katherine Young, her sisters Janice Torres, Karen Matsumoto and Kathy Dang, by her husband, Roy Kimura, her loving Cavamalt Madison, and by the nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews who loved her so much. A celebration of life for Lori Young Kimura will be held at Borthwick Mortuary on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, beginning with visitation at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers and monetary gifts, Lori's family asks that donations be made to Hawai'i Foodbank and/or KEY Project, two organizations whose missions align with Lori's love of people and communities.
