Lori Takao Obituary

LORI AIKO YAMATANI TAKAO 60, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on September 14, 2025. Lori was born on July 18, 1965, to Florence and Hiroshi Yamatani. She graduated from Hilo High School and the University of Hawaii. Lori retired as an HR Administrator for the State of Hawaii. She worked at various departments for over thirty years. She was a devoted and loving wife to Sherman Takao and was a caring mother to her 2 sons, Nathaniel and Spencer. She was also survived by her sister Kellie Yamatani, brother & sister in law Eric and Jedean Takao, and sister in law Leslie Takao. She loved to travel and was an avid Dodger Baseball fan. Visitation at 2 pm, on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at Hosoi Gardens Mortuary. Service begins at 3pm. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
