MARTHA SHIZUKO CHANG Martha Shizuko Chang, age 89, of Kailua, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on April 21, 2025. She was born on March 9, 1936, in Pa'auilo, Hawaii. She moved from her beloved Kailua home of 63 years to The Ivy Hawaii Kai in 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Chang, her daughter Donna Auld (Kaui), and her sister Hatsuye Lew. Martha is survived by her sister, Louise (Lulu) Armstrong; her daughter Cheryl (John); her sons Earle (Denise), Brian (Wendi), and Mark (Colette); and her grandchildren: Josh, Christie Ann (David), Christopher, Kainoa, Makana (Ciara), Mari, Brendan, Ryan (Fides), Sarah, Kelsea (Ryder), Noah (Bailey), Manu (Wyatt), Hannah (Carlos), and Issac; also her great-grandchildren: Kawika, Dausen, Chanesty, Mia, Emilia, Ciela, Landan, Amelia, and Ileana. Martha's legacy lives on in the generations of her family and the countless lives she touched with her grace and aloha. A Celebration of Life will be held on June 19, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 02:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Chapel, 45-425 Kamehameha Hwy, Kaneohe, HI 96744.
