Michael Uchida Obituary

Twenty-four years ago, I met Mike san in Hawaii, and that moment marked the beginning of my career.
I had the privilege of working under his leadership, and later, after I returned to Japan, he called me and said, "We´re opening a Tokyo office-let´s work together again." I immediately flew to Tokyo, and once again, Mike entrusted me with both great freedom and responsibility.

Though I now work in a different industry and role, the lessons I learned from Mike san continue to form the foundation of who I am professionally. I cannot thank him enough.

Time has passed, and I deeply regret not having had the chance to express my gratitude to him in person. Still, his influence remains strong within me. Even today, I often find myself asking, "What would Mike san do?" as I continue to learn and grow.

I am profoundly grateful for the impact he had on my life, and I am heartbroken by the news of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.
