Naomi Yamashiro Obituary

Mrs Naomi Yamashiro mentored my life and several other young wives and mothers by opening her home and starting a morning cottage meeting. Helping us build our lives in the love of Jesus. To read and study encouraging us to be good wives and mothers.
Providing Bibles, morning devotions ( which I still have mine).

When my first child was born in August of 1973 she and another caring mom Mrs Betty Lawson would show up at our home with diapers and baby clothes and that continued.

They made sure that attending Kailua mission School would be a big part of their lives.

So much wisdom, love and kindness came from the cottage meetings.

I thank God for allowing me to be a part her life.

She also wrote in a morning devotion book about 2 Samoan sisters that had asked if she would be willing to start a meeting for young mothers.

God´s timing is always perfect.

One of my favorite memory verses from the meetings that I hold dear in my heart.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
And lean not unto your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths."
