Raymond Miura Obituary

RAYMOND HARUYOSHI MIURA In Loving Memory April 13, 1940 - October 28, 2025 My name is Raymond H. Miura, and I passed away on October 28, 2025. I attended St. Louis College (now known as St. Louis High School), then went on to graduate from the University of Hawai'i with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Upon graduation, I was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. After serving two years, I was honorably discharged and began a long and fulfilling career at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard, where I proudly worked for 28 years before retiring in 1993. During those years, my beautiful and beloved wife Helen and I were blessed with three wonderful children Sheryl, Melanie, and Jason who made us so proud. Thanks to my wife's love, patience, and dedication, our children grew into outstanding citizens of Hawai'i and the United States. After retirement, Helen and I enjoyed our many trips to the "9th Island," making memories and cherishing our time together. To all my coworkers and friends you were the best team anyone could ask for, especially at the Shipyard. You truly made it No Ka 'Oi! We kept it "Fit to Fight!" As I take my leave, please remember to care for one another and always lead with love. To everyone who touched my life thank you. Love you all. As my final wish, I request no services. Aloha and God Bless. Raymond was also survived by his 3 grandchildren - Ross, Evan, Jenna as well as his daughter-in-law Michelle. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
