RAYMOND ZUKE TAKESHI ZUKERAN Raymond "Zuke" Takeshi Zukeran, 78, of Hilo died Sept. 25 at his home. Born in Ookala, he was a retired warehouseman for KTA Super Stores, member of Puna Hongwanji Mission, Hui Okinawa, Hilo AJA Bowling Club and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Visitation from 2-3 p.m. Sunday (October 8, 2023) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; memorial service at 3. Casual attire. Survived by son, Corey (Melanie) Zukeran of Pearl City; granddaughters, Kira Zukeran of Pearl City, Maya Zukeran of Pearl City; brother, Byron (Jodie) Nagasako of Honolulu; sister, Leinaala (Alan) Ikeuchi of Honokaa; sister-in-law, Masae Zukeran of Hilo; brother-in-law, Don Elvena of Mililani; numerous nieces and nephews.
