RONALD MAU Obituary

RONALD K.T. MAU D.D.S. (72) was born on July 6, 1950 and died peacefully surrounded by his family on June 5, 2023. He was the youngest child of George D.L. and Edna Leong Mau. Ron graduated from Kaimuki High School and received his B.S. degree from the University of Oregon and his degree in dentistry from Northwestern University. He had a private practice in Honolulu for over 45 years and also worked at the Hawaii Family Dental Center in Hilo for 24 years. Ron was a kind, thoughtful and generous person who will be greatly missed by his wife Karen Leong; daughter Sarah Anne; son Robert; siblings Georgina (Bill) Yuen, Frances (Vernon) Hee, Stephen (Lurline) Mau; and numerous relatives and friends. A Celebration of Ron's Life will be held at the Diamond Head Mortuary on Friday, August 18, 2023. Visitation will be from 8:30 am. Service at 11:30 am followed by inurnment at the Diamond Head Cemetery. The Family strongly suggests that masks be worn and no flowers, please.
