Loved Aunt "Posie", my dad´s sister-in-law.
So kind, and thoughtful. She and uncle Allen made my mom, sister, and I feel so welcomed when we went to Hawaii, before my dad could leave California, because of his job. We lived in Hawaii for about 4 months in 1959. Spent lots of time with Hawaiian half of the family.
Aunt Posie always wanted to feed us, etc. she was such a gentle soul. Her mother, Mrs. Wong had tiny feet, from being bound, as a child, and could barely walk. She lived with uncle Allen and aunt Posie.
They had a beautiful home, and two daughters, Wanda and Wendy, around my age, or a bit younger. I hope they´re doing well.
I am happy to learn that aunt Posie had a long life, and that she and uncle Allen were together 65 years.

Conveying the most respectable of condolences to family and dear friends of Rose. I will always remember the genuine warmth she showed me during our Hurricane Iwa Thanksgiving with stellar hospitality, kindness and welcoming. My husband Uncle Kenny held her in high esteem and spoke of her always with a smile on his face.
