ROY MAGNO Obituary

ROY MAGNO Roy Magno, 85, of Pearl City, surrounded by his 'Ohana entered the kingdom of heaven on October 26, 2025. He was born on September 22, 1940 in Ola'a Hawaii. Survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Aileen; son, Nathan Keoni (Sheri) Magno, grandchildren Kawaiola Keoki Keanuikekaiolohia Magno, Kamau'iola Leialoha O Kailani Magno; siblings; Edward (Karen) Magno, Richard (Rose) Magno, the late Joseph & Mary Lou Magno, the late Henry Magno, (Josephine); the late Loretta & Gus Acosta. Predeceased by parents Walter and Soledad Magno. Loved his nieces and nephews. A Hilo High School graduate, served 3 yrs in the Army, attended UH-Manoa, LCC. Retired after 25+ years as an Engineer/Draftsman for DL&R-State Parks, State of Hawaii. Above all else he loved God, his family and friends. He'd brighten up a room whenever he walked in with a smile, friends to everyone he meets, loved playing golf with his wife and friends weekly (searching for his 2nd hole-in-one). A fixer-upper in and around his house, loved working in his yard and on his golf clubs. Memorial Service: Monday, January 19, 2026, Mililani Memorial Park & Mortuary-Mauka Chapel, 94-560 Kamehameha Highway, Waipahu HI 96797. Viewing 5:00pm, Prayer service 6:00pm, gathering to follow in dining hall.

Magno Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Roy's passing. He always had a friendly "hello" and wave whenever I delivered the mail. My heartfelt condolences.
