STEWART AYERS Obituary

STEWART SUNADA AYERS Stewart Sunada Ayers was born in Honolulu, Hawaii on March 28, 1969 and passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023 in Portland Oregon after a long courageous battle with cancer. Stewart was a proud graduate of Saint Louis School class of 1987 and Pacific University '91 in Forrest Grove. He was an over achiever, kind and loyal to his family and friends. Stewart's passion was wrestling, where he achieved numerous titles while at Saint Louis. He continued to wrestle at the college level under Coach Mike Clock at Pacific University. With such passion for wrestling, he later coached for the past 24 years at Lincoln High School, Southridge High School and Parkrose High School. He loved coaching wrestling and was a mentor to so many young wrestlers with whom he continued life long relationships with. He was the favorite Uncle who loved and spoiled each and every one of them in a special way. Stewart was a "foodie" who loved trying new restaurants. Most of our family adventures over the years were focused on "where to eat" and "what to try next." He was the Prepress Manager at Signature Graphics for 26 years (1997-2023) he loved his job. Stewart is survived by his wife Jennifer, his daughter Livia Nohea Ayers, Mother Sandra Olsen, Father Patrick H. Ayers and Step Mom Aupuni Cazinha-Ayers, brothers Patrick jr, Jack Judd, Sister Alyson Anuhea Ayers-Toavs nephews, nieces and cousins. Stewart will be remembered in a celebration of life on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Mystical Rose Chapel at Saint Louis School 10:30 am Mass at 11:00 am. Lunch to follow at Happy Days Restaurant, Honolulu. Private scattering of his ashes.
