In Loving Memory of TAYLOR MEI URBAN May 9, 1994 ~ December 30, 2023 It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Taylor Mei Urban on December 30, 2023, at the age of 29. Taylor was born on May 9, 1994, and her departure from this world leaves an indelible void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Taylor Mei was a proud graduate of Sacred Hearts Academy in Honolulu, where she was born and raised. Her educational journey also took her to Reno, Nevada, and Wichita, Kansas, but she returned to her beloved hometown in 2018. Throughout her life, Taylor's patience and aloha spirit were her guiding lights. Her radiant smile and unparalleled kindness touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Taylor Mei's caring nature knew no bounds, and her absence will be keenly felt by all who had the privilege of sharing in her life's journey. She is survived by her cherished son, La'akea Meheula-Hartman; loving mother, Rorie Alos Urban; devoted father, Lionel Urban; dear sisters, Romie Gonzales and Gabrielle Urban; adoring grandmother, Dolores Taylor-Tacderan; doting grandmother, Barbara Urban; supportive grandfather, David Urban; and fianc?, Lowenn Meheula-Hartman. A private mass in remembrance of Taylor Mei will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cathedral on Friday, January 12th, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at Oahu Cemetery at 3:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Our Lady of Peace Cathedral in Taylor's honor. For those who wish to express their condolences with flowers, arrangements may be sent to the Cathedral on the day of the funeral between 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. and between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. May Taylor Mei Urban rest in eternal peace, her memory forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
