CHANEL CHRISTINE LOUIE June 21, 1993 - November 15, 2024 "This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you." - Don McLean My bright star, Chanel, passed peacefully in her sleep on November 15, 2024. I know we will be reunited in heaven. Only 31 years old, she lived a full and fabulous life. Like a comet, she blazed through a joyful childhood and an exceptional education at Punahou School (Class of 2011) and UCLA (Class of 2015). She won Punahou's Multilingual Award, studied abroad in Taiwan and Japan, and later worked in Japan, putting her Chinese and Japanese language skills to use. Chanel lived life vividly. She loved music festivals, met celebrities, and swam with turtles and dolphins. She attracted followers both online and in real life, radiating charm wherever she went. She leaves behind her beloved long-haired dachshund, "Turtle," now cared for by me, her devoted Mom, Linda Louie. She is also survived by her loving Dad, Albert Louie, her cousins, aunties, uncles, and countless friends around the world who miss her deeply. Me Ke Aloha Pau'ole Chanel. (With never ending Love)
