DARVI KAPELIALA OPIO BARINO OCTOBER 2, 1965 JANUARY 22, 2026 Darvi Kapeliala Opio Barino, age 60, of Honolulu, Hawai'i, passed away on January 22, 2026. Born on October 2, 1965, in Honolulu, Darvi a ectionately known as Opiowas raised in Kauluwela and proudly graduated from McKinley High School, Class of 1983. He honorably served his country as a United States Navy Veteran. For the past 27 years, he was a dedicated employee of the United States Postal Service, working as a Mail Handler and forming many lasting friendships along the way. Darvi is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Regina; his daughters, Ti any (James) and Little China; and his son, Brittish. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his brothers, Jason and Starza (Tsu-Tsu); his sisters, Robin (Jimmy) and Dahli; along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Adolfo and Audrey Barino, and his sister, Celestine "Keala." Darvi Opio will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his love, loyalty, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew him.. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 23, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at O'ahu Cemetery (Aloha attire). Burial will follow at Hawaiian Memorial.
