DOUGLAS TUCK YIP LEE, DOUG Douglas T.Y. His parents were the late Henry T. Lee and Violet H. Lee of Honolulu. Doug attended Iolani School (Class of 1950) and the University of Hawai`i (Class of 1955). He was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served in the Washington D.C. area where he completed his service as a First Lieutenant. He then attended the University of California Hastings School of Law where he received his JD in 1960. Doug enjoyed a long and successful career as a litigation defense attorney and was listed in the Best Lawyers of America in 1988. He was one of the founding partners of Rice, Lee, and Wong (later, Lee, Henderson, Chipchase and Wong). Doug was a world traveler, loved classical music, and enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He will be sorely missed. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he leaves behind and his memory will remain in the hearts of his family and friends.
