John Carroll Obituary

JOHN ALLEN CARROLL Age 84, of Honolulu, passed away at his home on May 13, 2025. John was born in Honolulu on April 1, 1941, and grew up in Kaimuki. John graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1959 and attended the University of Hawaii, where he was a member of the Rainbow Football Team from 1960 to 1962. John retired as the Chief Investigator for the Honolulu Liquor Commission of the City and County of Honolulu in 2006, after 37 years of service. John was a Life Member of the Honolulu Elks Lodge #616. John is survived by his daughter, Brande Kahalewai (Carl), his grandsons, John Kahalewai (Chelsie) and Samuel Kahalewai (Taylor), and his great-grandchildren, Amaya, Kelia, Kaleb, and Ava Kahalewai. Services will be held on June 26, 2025, at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Visitation 10 a.m. and Service at 11 a.m. Arrangements Provided By: Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary LLC
