KWOCK TIM YEE Kwock Tim Yee, 99, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on August 26, 2025. Tim was born in Honolulu on July 10, 1926 to parents Tuck and Lily Yee. He graduated from Punahou School in 1944, Harvard University in 1950 and Harvard Law School in 1952. Tim had a successful business career in both Hawaii and California. His career began as the Director of the Federal Housing Administration for Hawaii and Guam (1957-1960), after which time he became the President and CEO of Kaiser Hawaii Kai Development Company (1961-1977), Corporate Vice President for Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corporation in Oakland, California (1977-1984), Chairman, President and CEO of Bishop Square Management (1984-1987), President and CEO of Queen Emma Foundation and Queen's International Corporation (1988-1996) and Consultant for Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. He also served on the Board of Directors for Bank of Hawaii and Hawaiian Trust Companies (1972-1997) and on the Board of Overseers for Harvard University (1991-1997). He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who valued family, always made them a priority, and could often be heard giving important advice to his children and grandchildren. His presence will be missed as we often looked to him for guidance. Tim was predeceased by his wife Janet and daughter Lianne Liu. He is survived by children Kevin (Ih Hae) Yee, Lorinne (Keith) Shiigi and Lauren (Eric) Nagao, son-in-law Andrew Liu and grandchildren Ryan Adachi, Evan Liu, Riley Adachi, Bennett Liu and Nicole Nagao.
