Deepest Sympathy to the Baker & Yoon Ohana.
I had the pleasure to meet Laurie when we first worked at Tgi Friday's on Ward Ave.
We became friends instantly and even went out a few times. She was always the sweetest most genuine person i will ever come across.
I am so deeply saddened to hear about Laurie.

Heartbroken to hear of Laurie's passing. She was as real as any person I've known.
I first knew Laurie when we both worked at Tgi Friday's on Ward Ave.
We saw each other outside of work a couple of times. In fact on one date, she showed me how to eat a whole artichoke. Me being from Castle High..she from Punahou & Waialae Iki. Lol.
Even when she went back to school in San Francisco to get her law degree, we still wrote ( no text or Instagram or Facebook) real letters and post cards.
I lost contact with Laurie after the years, but always thought of her everytime I drove past Waialae Iki. She was a special beautiful soul that I will never forget.

Hawaii´s soccer Ohana lost a pioneer and faithful warrior on the field. My heart is heavy but I will always remember Laurie´s bright light. Sending comfort and peace to her family and close friends.
