Lorraine Young Obituary

LORRAINE LAU YOUNG Lorraine Lau Young, 68, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was the youngest child of the late Kwock Nam and Eunice Lau. Lorraine attended Roosevelt High School and Kapiolani Community College, then worked at Kaiser Medical Center and Tripler Army Medical Center. She later managed the family business, Royal Kitchen. Lorraine brought people together with her passions for travel, family history, food, and music. She always made sure others were cared for, fed, and celebrated before thinking of herself. A dear friend to many, Lorraine is greatly missed and will always be remembered for her joyfulness, work ethic, and generous spirit. She is survived by her husband Eugene, daughter Jenna (JR), granddaughter Charlotte; siblings Liana (Charles) Benn, Roger Lau, and Phillip Lau. Visitation: 10am; Celebration of Life: 11am on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary, East Chapel. Aloha attire. No fl owers.
