MICHAEL LAU Obituary

MICHAEL THOMAS LAU 80, died December 19, 2023 in Sacramento, California. He was born December 31, 1942 in Wailuku, Hawaii. He graduated from Baldwin High School Class of 1960 and attended Pacific University, Forest Grove, OR, San Francisco State and Sacramento State, CA. He was a postal worker in San Francisco, CA, enlisted in the United States Navy and during active and reserve duty, served more than 20 years. He retired as teacher in Sacramento. He loved Chinese culture, skiing and Kung Fu. Michael is survived by his brother Lot, sister Christine, brother Alan, and numerous cousins, nephews and nieces. He was cremated and was buried February 27, 2024 with military honors at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, Sacramento, CA. Funeral arrangements by W.F. Gormley & Sons, Sacramento, CA.
