Paul Britos Obituary

PAUL BRITOS Paul Francisco Oluhaakekulanaopuaoao Britos was born on April 2, 1938 to Miriam (Kailipolahiwa) and Marcelo Britos in Honolulu, Hawaii. He passed away July 7, 2024 at Queen's Hospital. Paul was the second oldest of six children. He grew up in Kaneohe and attended St. Ann's School and graduated from Castle High School. He was drafted by the Army and served for 3 years from 1964 to 1967. He had an honorable discharge leaving with a rank of E-5. He met his wife Barbara (Hirasa) Britos while stationed at Ft. Zama, Japan. She passed away July 13, 2023. After his military service, Paul worked at Westinghouse. He then opened his own firm, Paul's Intermediary Take-Off Service. Paul was a devoted Catholic who prayed daily. Paul lived a strong life as a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Paul is survived by his daughter Jaye Britos (husband Edwin Fabro), son Dean Britos (wife Lee Britos), and grandsons Noah Britos and Lucas Britos. Funeral services will be held at Hosoi Mortuary on September 6th with visitation at 10:30am and service at 11:30am followed by burial at Green Haven Memorial Park on September 10th at 1:00pm in Kaneohe.
