Sandra Low Obituary

SANDRA GAIL LOW On August 31, 2023, Sandra Gail Low, passed away at her home in Hawaii Kai with her husband, Wade Low at her side. Sandra was the second eldest of four children born to Tom and Patsy Lee (brothers Glenn and Kenneth and sister Linda) on April 8, 1947. She grew up in Palama before moving to Alewa Heights. She attended St. Andrew's Priory and then Roosevelt Highschool, graduating in 1965. Sandra went on to attend the University of Hawaii, graduating with a Bachelor's Degree in Education in 1969 and then a Master's Degree in Education in 1970. In 1972 she married her husband of 51 years, Wade Low. Together they raised two children, a son, Mark, and a daughter Kimberlee (Kwon). After a career in elementary school education at Salt Lake Elementary that spanned over 40 years, she devoted the remainder of her life to her many hobbies. She enjoyed knitting, reading, word games, and volunteering with the Hawaii State Teacher's Association. What she loved most of all was spending time with her five grandchildren, Parker Low, Aila Low, Alyssa Low, Lucas Kwon, and Ryan Kwon. Sandra was a devoted, selfless, and loving sister, wife, mother, and grandmother who will be sorely missed. Sandra will be laid to rest in a private ceremony on September 21, 2023. Her final resting place will be at the Hawaii State Veteran's Cemetery in Kaneohe. Arrangements Provided By: Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary
