A very akamai, generous, thoughtful, loving and caring person. I learned a lot from her sharp and fair supervising qualities and instilled many of them when I became a supervisor especially in tough situations. She also shared experiences with raising her young family and when in doubt while raising my two children she came to mind and not bragging but my daughter and son are fine, hardworking adults. I admired her as a boss, friend and loving parent. Hard to find people with these qualities these days. Thank you for letting me share these thoughts.

It is with much aloha that I am sending my condolences to the Mizoguchi 'ohana for the loss of your mother Doris. I worked with her at the First Insurance Co., in the late 1960s, she hired me. She inspired me to always look forward to the brighter side of any challenge that comes my way. Oddly enough couple days ago I was just thinking about my time at the First Insurance Co., in that small office that we worked in way back in a corner and of her kind and gracious way that she treated me. I remember her sharing with me as I was a young newlywed was to always be positive and honest with all that I may be faced with in life as I was a very young woman trying to find my way in the work force with only a high school education. I learned a lot from her and when I became a supervisor her example of a great and fair leader came to mind when I needed to make impartial decisions. She also influenced my life when I became a mother as she shared many stories of Kevin and Lori, and of how education was very important. In essence she was my life's hero and I share this thought, "I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people, and she was exactly that. Aloha Vicky Kaiama
