Frances Ginoza Obituary

FRANCES MIYO GINOZA Frances Miyo Ginoza passed away on Saturday, March 9th, 2024, after a two years long battle with blood cancer. She was a graduate of McKinley High School and member of the Kin Cho Jin Kai Club. Frances had a long career with the Department of Education working in food services for over 30 years, the majority of it working at Moanalua High School as the cafeteria manager where she was affectionately known as "Miss G.". Frances enjoyed traveling, particularly to Japan, and she always was planning her next trip. The family is grateful for the love and care offered to her by the Caguioa Family. Frances was predeceased by her parents, Masao and Kameyo Ginoza; her sister and brother-in-law, Charlotte Emi and Joe Provino. She is survived by her two sisters, Yuki Joyce (George) Miyashiro and Elaine (Robert Jr) Tanigawa; by nieces Lynn Masuda, Kris Tanioka and nephews Matthew Provino, Justin Tanigawa and Brett Tanigawa; and 5 grandnephews. Visitation will be at 3pm and Celebration of Life to follow at 4pm at Hosoi Mortuary on June 15, 2024. Arrangements Provided By: Hosoi Garden Mortuary
